Perbedaan Antara "College" dan "University"

Berawal dari pengalaman pribadi Saya memiliki kesulitan saat berkomunikasi dengan orang luar negri saat berdiskusi jenjang pendidikan dan saya ga tau malu juga saat salah sebut "university" dan "college". Lalu saya bertanya, "emang beda ya?" , singkat cerita ga perlu dijelaskan kejadian yang itu....... Setelah itu saya googling dan menemukan yang menurut saya penjelasannya paling "baik" dari semua yang saya pernah lihat.

"Siswa/i yang telah lulus SMA bisa melanjutkan pendidikannya ke College atau University. Kemudian apasih perbedaan College and Universitas, perbedaan-nya sbb:

University
-Earns Degree
-Minimum of 4 years of study
-Higher Learning
-Higher entry requirement
-Higher tuition fee
-Big lecture rooms setting
-Geared to prepare students for advanced learning

College
-Earns Certificate/ Diploma/ Advanced Diploma
-1 to 3 years of study
-Practical/Applied Learning (Co‐op programs)
-Relatively lower entry requirement
-Lower tuition fee with a change of earning income during Co‐op program
-Smaller class room setting with friendlier atmosphere
-Geared to prepare students for immediate work settings"

Cara Menghitung KECEPATAN Internet Anda

Perbedaan KBps dengan Kbps ! Penting Untuk Diketahui
PENTING ! anda Ketahui disinilah banyak persepsi salah! sebenarnya antara KBps dan Kbps adalah beda, memang dalam pengucapan banyak yang sama. Pada dasarnya KBps dan Kbps merupakan satuan yg sangat berbeda.

pernah liat kan iklan promosi para ISP (Speedot, IM*, atau Tel*sel Flash) yg menawarkan speed inet mulai up to 128 Kbps - 7.2 Mbps??
Tapi kenapa pas donlot real gak prnah dapet segitu ya??
kenapa gtu ??

Berikut penjelasan detailnya:

* KBps (Kilobyte per second)
* Kbps (Kilobit per second)

Konversi 1 byte = 8 bit


Untuk mengetahui speed download realnya, gampangkan, tinggal dibagi aja speed yg d kasih ISP dgn angka 8 (Delapan)

Berikut listnya:
128 Kbps: 128/8= 16 KBps
256 Kbps: 256/8= 32KBps
384 Kbps: 384/8= 48 KBps
512 Kbps: 512/8= 64 KBps
1 Mbps : 1024/8= 128 KBps


Hal ini sering menimbulkan pertanyaan “katanya 256 kbps kok dapatnya waktu download cuman 32 KBps ?
Kalau dijabarkan, jika 1 Byte = 8 bit artinya bila berlangganan 1 Mbps Dedicated dan dapatnya adalah 128 KBps x 8 = 1024 Kbps / 1 Mbps

Jika kecepatan 256 kbps maka yang didapat adalah 256/8= 32 KBps
Jika kecepatan 384 kbps maka yang didapat adalah 256/8= 48 KBps


Begitu juga sebaliknya untuk mengetahui berapa bandwidth yang didapat dari provider dengan melihat satuan yang didapat dari download misal :


Jika tertera 10kBps maka kecepatan yang di dapat dari provider adalah 10X8=90kbps
Jika tertera 20kBps maka kecepatan yang di dapat dari provider adalah 20X8=160kbps
Tetapi kecepatan tersebut tidak bisa menjadi patokan 100%, karena biasanya pada saat download kita juga melakukan browsing, chatting atau bahkan melakukan download file yang lainnya.



misalnya kita punya handppone 3,5G yang konon bisa dengan kecepatan 3,2 Mbps (Mega bit per second) artinya sama dengan 3,2 Mbps dibagi 8 = 400 KBps ( Kilo bytes)

Sebagai contoh lain dengan acuan 1 Byte = 8 bit, maka :
256 kbps sama dengan 258/8 = 32 KBps
1 Mbps Dedicated sama dengan 128 KBps x 8 = 1024 Kbps / 1 Mbps


Coba ukur speed / bandwith internetmu sekarang biar tidak bingung lagi!

Cara Efektif apabila bb lemot / heng

Soft Reset
Cara ini kerap digunakan membersihkan log/ log cleaner atau mengurangi file yang kurang penting. Cara melakukannya mudah, yaitu dengan menekan tombol [Alt] + [Capslock Kanan] + [Delete]
Double Soft Reset
Double Soft Reset akan menghentikan semua aplikasi. Untuk melakukannya, pertama, lakukan soft reset hingga layar menjadi hitam, tekan [Alt] + [Capslock Kanan] + [Delete] kembali. Layar akan kosong sampai ikon jam pasir muncul. Tunggu hingga system sudah kembali normal.


apabila Sudah melakukan double soft reset bb masi lemot coba cek application memory bb anda dan ada baiknya untuk menyisakan sekitar 30% dari kapasistas maksimum application memory karena itu digunakan untuk menjalankan program-program yang ada.

 Jangan lupa clear log bbm dengan tidak menyimpan chat (lakukan end chat) jangan menyimpan chat-chat lama yang tidak berguna karena hanya membuat lemot.

Juga jangan lupa bersihkan HISTORY pada browser anda.




Hard Reset
Lakukan Hard Reset jika terjadi masalah pada jaringan/network, software atau hardware. Reset jenis ini bisa dilakukan dengan mencabut batere selama 30 detik, kemudian pasang kembali baterenya. Nyalakan BlackBerry maka perangkat BlackBerry akan berjalan seperti saat awal digunakan.

Convert Amr to Mp3

Seringkali ada beberapa saat kita perlu menggunakan alat perekam digital seperti Handphone / HP dan bahkan Mp3 sebagai alat perekam. Tetapi saya menyadari hal ini sebagai suatu masalah karena terkadang format perekaman adalah AMR bukan MP3 sehingga susah sekali membuka dan mendengarkan hasil rekaman. Karena itu saya ingin berbagi sebuah program yang sangat berguna dalam merubah format AMR ke MP3 yang terbukti bisa dibuka dengan media apapun.
